CURes Featured in Loyolan Article on Hope in Times of Environmental Concern

CURes was featured in an article in The Los Angeles Loyolan, LMU’s local newspaper, entitled “LMU CURes Plants Seeds of Hope in Times of Rising Environmental Concerns”.  The article features the Center’s work in several areas.  When asked to comment on climate change, Executive Director Eric Strauss stated that, “Climate change involves the science of understanding it, the sociology of how people respond to it, the economics of its impact, the ethics of how we make choices and the legal system of how we will enforce this…We won’t make the kind of progress we need on climate change until we have a holistic approach that allows all of these elements of the kinds of conversations to the table.”  The article also features information about the Center’s extensive research projects and programs serving students at LMU, including the popular internship program.
