On November 13th, from 4:30-5:30pm in University Hall 1000, Traci Voyles (LMU Women’s and Gender Studies) will give a lecture titled “Man Destroys Nature? Gender, History, and the Feminist Praxis of Re-framing Environmental Politics.” Dr. Voyles is the author of Wastelanding: Legacies of Uranium Mining in Navajo Country and is currently writing another book about the environmental and cultural history of southern California’s Salton Sea. She received a M.A. and a Ph.D. in Ethnic Studies from the University of California San Diego.
